We hope this message finds you all well and thriving. Members, we need your help! A Special Membership Meeting will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021, 9:00am, called to approve the proposed amendments to our bylaws and other governing documents (see the PDF files below). This meeting will allow us to move forward with our current pursuit to obtain 501(c)(3) federal non-profit tax exemption status. This July 17th Special Membership Meeting will be an online Zoom meeting.
To amend our current AHA bylaws, two-thirds of our current membership must be present to vote. Due to insufficient attendee numbers at the February 13, 2021 Annual Meeting, a vote on the bylaws and the aforementioned governing documents was unable to take place. For the upcoming meeting, all attendees participating in the vote to amend the bylaws must be paid 2021 AHA members. At the beginning of 2021, it was decided that all 2020 members had their membership automatically extended to June 30, 2021. It is now time to renew memberships. (CLICK HERE TO UPDATE MEMBERSHIP)
