Join the Association of Hawaiʻi Archivists for a virtual tour and talk story with Kelsey Karsin, the Curator of Archives & Librarian of the Hawaiian Mission Houses Historic Site and Archives and one of AHA’s newest Board Members. Kelsey Karsin
Kelsey Karsin is currently the Curator of Archives/Librarian at the Hawaiian Mission Houses Historic Site and Archives. Having started the job in May 2020, Kelsey enjoys learning about all of the amazing collections that the archives hold. Before working at the Mission Houses, Kelsey worked as Office Registrar at the Honolulu Museum of Art School from 2012-2018. In 2018, Kelsey decided to go to grad school to pursue a career in library/archival studies. During her time in grad school, she completed a remote internship with the Button Museum in Chicago. She holds a B.F.A. in printmaking from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa and an M.L.I.S. from San Jose State University.
